Does your work time have a fixed schedule? Mine doesn’t unless I impose one. I could work from the time my feet hit the floor in the morning until I collapse at night. That is not okay.
There’s a diminishing return with that kind of work schedule, plus everything else in my life suffers when I put in too many hours. If this is true for you, have a designated stopping time, even if you’re a late-night worker.
I like to set a timer for 15 minutes before my stopping time so I know I have a few minutes to wrap things up.
