As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I am beginning to review productivity tools. What criteria do you think a tool should be rated on?

My initial thoughts for criteria are as follows:
Over all effectiveness: How well does it do what it’s advertised to do
Learning curve: How hard it is  going to be to get up and running
Platform and sync-ability:
price

What other criteria do you think would be useful when evaluating a productivity tool? Or in other words, what do you want to know about before you decide to try and use one?

The next step will be to decide on what the star system will look like…5 Nags maybe?
